How to Play Badugi

  1. Two players post the forced bet, otherwise known as blinds.
  2. Each player is then dealt 4 cards faced down.
  3. Starting with the player to the immediate left of the Big Blind, the player will choose to call the minimum bet, raise, or fold. Action will continue like this until all players have acted.
  4. The first draw round will begin with the player to the immediate left of the dealer button. The player will have the choice to draw 0-4 cards.
  5. After all players have acted, the 2nd betting round will begin with the player to the immediate left of the dealer button.
  6. Players will be able to draw for the 2nd time.
  7. For the 3rd time, players will begin the betting round, again starting with the player to the left of the dealer button.
  8. Players will now begin the 3rd and last draw round.
  9. The 4th and final betting round will begin after the 3rd draw round.
  10. After the final betting round, the last person in the hand will win the pot. If there is more than 1 player, the person with the best Badugi will win the pot.
  11. After the pot has been awarded, the button will move one seat to the left, the blinds will be posted, and a new hand will be started.
